Launch of the eLearning Course on Effective National to Local Public Governance for SDG Implementation

18 January 2024, Virtual – The United Nations Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) of the Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA), officially launched the eLearning Course on Effective National to Local Public Governance for SDG Implementation on 17 January 2024.
The self-paced eLearning Course is based on the toolkit of the same title from the UN DESA Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs and is intended for the capacity development of government institutions and other relevant stakeholders in strengthening coordination between national and local governments and enhancing institutional effectiveness to achieve the SDGs.
The launch generated significant interest online and received 438 participants from around the globe. Discussions throughout the event had also been fruitful as the participants were able to raise their questions to the panellists.
