Participation in the National Planning Commission (NPC) of Namibia’s Benchmarking Mission to the Republic of Korea (4 April 2024, Seoul, Republic of Korea)

DPIDG/UNPOG participated in the Benchmarking Mission of the National Planning Commission (NPC) of Namibia to the Republic of Korea facilitated by DSDG/UNOSD. DPIDG/UNPOG organized a thematic session with presentations on “Strengthening Capacities for Digital Government Transformation” and “Conducting a Situation Analysis to Assess Capacity Gaps and Opportunities in Digital Government Transformation”. The Session, which was well received and interactive, provided the senior government officials from the Namibian delegation with insights and strategies on how to enhance their capacities for digital government transformation. Through presentations and discussions, the Namibian delegation gained a deeper understanding of digital government transformation and explored the tools for assessing digital capacity gaps and opportunities.
UNPOG also used the occasion to share the Training Toolkit on Capacities on Digital Government Transformation which is part of UN DESA Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs.
