- Harnessing digital technologies can greatly support public institutions in promoting effective youth engagement and participation in policy processes.
- Digital technologies can play an instrumental role in youth engagement and participation through i) better understanding the demands and priorities of youth; ii) raising awareness and informing youth of government policies; iii) facilitating participation in policy consultations and decision-making processes; and iv) co-designing and co-creating policies and services.
- Public institutions shall take policy measures to address challenges and build an enabling ecosystem for youth engagement and participation, with a focus on bridging the youth digital divide and supporting digital skills development of youth.
