DPIDG/UNPOG organized a half-day special training session for 34 local government officials participating in the Local Administration Development Programme, which was coordinated by Korea's Local Government Development Institute (LOGODI). The training session addressed the important role of public institutions in SDG implementation including institutional arrangements for SDG implementation and varied country practices, localizing SDGs and equipping local institutions, means of implementation, and monitoring and review process. The training session provided good exposure of local government officials to the 2030 Agenda and was well received by participants.
