Study Visit from Yonsei University (14 March 2024, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

On 14 March 2024, DPIDG/UNPOG received a Study Visit from Yonsei University. The study visit was attended by 45 first-year students from various majors. During the study visit, the UNPOG staff introduced: i) CEPA Principles of Effective Governance for Sustainable Development, ii) UNPOG's mandate and activities, and the iii) UN DESA Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs.
The event was a good platform to promote the upcoming UN Public Service Forum, the 8th Youth Forum on SDG Implementation, and the 8th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and Digital Transformation to Accelerating Progress towards the 2030 Agenda. At the end of the visit, the students enhanced their understanding on the critical role of strengthening public institutions for effective, inclusive, and accountable SDG implementation.
