3rd SDGs Youth Summer Camp (29 July – 1 August 2019, Incheon, Republic of Korea)
UNOSD & UNPOG of UN DESA and K-eco co-organized the 3rd SDGs Youth Summer Camp from 29 July to 1 August in Incheon, Republic of Korea. 41 young people from 16 countries participated in the Summer Camp. During the Summer Camp, staff from UNPOG and other Korea-resident UN agencies delivered presentations and facilitated group discussions on i) frontier technology for public service delivery to realize the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, ii) the role of the youth & disaster risk reduction, iii) tackling climate change, and iv) decent work and economic growth. There was a field visit on the third day of the camp to the Incheon Metropolitan Urban History Museum and Incheon Free Economic Zone. On the last day of the Summer Camp, the participants made group presentations on the role of the youth in implementing the SDGs.
