Study Visit from Songdo High School (17 July 2024, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

DPIDG/UNPOG received a study visit from Songdo High School located in Incheon, Republic of Korea. The visit was attended by 30 students. During the study visit, UNPOG staff introduced: i) UNPOG’s Mandate and Activities, ii) CEPA Principles of Effective Governance for Sustainable Development and the iii) UN DESA Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs. The event was a good platform to promote the upcoming 8th Youth Forum on SDG Implementation and the 8th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and Digital Transformation. At the end of the visit, the students enhanced their understanding on the critical role of strengthening public institutions for effective, inclusive, and accountable SDG implementation.
