Participation in the “Seminar on Global Leadership in Korea to Respond to Climate Change”

The K-Water (Korea Water Resources Corporation) requested Mr. Bokyun Shim, Head of UNPOG, to participate as a panellist during the ‘Seminar on Global Leadership in Korea to Respond to Climate Change’ on 28 September 2021. The Presentation addressed the climate change-related policies in developing countries and explored possible channels for cooperation with developing countries.
High-level speakers including Mr. Ban Ki-moon, 8th Secretary General of the United Nations, the Minister of Environment, and the First Vice Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea also attended the seminar.
The Seminar provided a good opportunity to promote the UN DESA/DPIDG’s Curriculum on Governance for the Sustainable Development Goals to the Korean audience.
