Presentation on Effective National to Local Governance for Sustainable Development at the “6th Global Leader Course”

Mr. Bokyun Shim, head of UNPOG, delivered a presentation on "Effective National to Local Governance for Sustainable Development" at the 6th Global Leader Course, organised by the Local Government Officials Development Institute (LOGODI) on 21 October 2021. The presentation elaborated on the global framekwork of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, 11 Principles of Effective Governance for Sustainable Development, and the importance of local governance for driving ESG initiatitves.
The participation in the programme provided a good opportunity to promote the UN DESA/DPIDG's Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs among public officials from the Government of the Republic of Korea.
