Presentation on ESG for Sustainable Development at the “Jangseong Academy”

The Head of UNPOG, Mr. Bokyun Shim, delivered a presentation on “ESG for Sustainable Development: Significance and Challenges” for the Jangseong Academy on 4 November 2021. The presentation elaborated on the themes such as the ESG approach and principles and trends, ESG management practices and strategies, and the roles of local government and citizens in the ESG framework.
The programme was attended by Jangseong County government officials and citizens, and provided a good opportunity to promote the UN DESA/DPIDG’s Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs among the youth in Korea.
