2021 Global Environment Forum for University Students (2 December 2021)

On 2 December 2021, the Head of UNPOG delivered a presentation on “The Roles of Government, Private Sector, and Citizens to Achieve Carbon Neutrality for Sustainable Development” for the Global Environment Forum for University Students, hosted by DAEJAYON, an NGO consisting of university students all over the world. The presentation elaborated on the critical role of governance in carbon neutrality. Under the theme of “Now is the time to change for Future”, the Forum was participated by 1000 university students around the world. The participation in the Forum provided a good opportunity to promote the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and UN DESA/DPIDG’s Curriculum on Governance for the SDGs among the participants.
