On 23 May 2025, the Head of UNPOG/DPIDG paid a courtesy visit to the Korea Global Saemaul Center to forge relations between UNPOG/DPIDG and Saemaul and to discuss opportunities of collaboration. The visit also presented an opportunity for UNPOG to share incoming activities including the Online Workshop on Effective Public Governance and Finance for Disaster Risk Reduction, Local Resilience and Climate Action, and the Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and AI Transformation.
