On 28 October, one UNPOG staff participated in the 2022 Incheon International Education Forum on the direction of education for citizens of the world that will open the era of students' success, which was co-organized by the East Asia Global Education Institute (Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education) and Incheon Education Model United Nations (ICEMUN). The Forum shared the value and vision of future Incheon education and promoted the Incheon-style Global Citizenship Education in cooperation with international organizations resident in Incheon. The UNPOG staff provided comments and supported endorsing the ICEMUN Resolution on global citizenship. UNPOG’s participation in this Forum helped advocate the significance of public governance and promote youth engagement in SDG implementation. The former Korean Ambassador to the United Nations, Mr. Joon Oh, the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN University Network, and several civil society organizations and think tanks also participated in this Forum.
