2023 Incheon International Organizations Partnership Meeting (22 November 2023, Incheon, Republic of Korea)

On 22 November, DPIDG/UNPOG met with Mr. Yoo Jeongbok, Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, during the Incheon International Organizations Partnership Meeting. This annual event serves as a platform for heads of UN entities to engage in dialogue and explore better multilateral collaboration.
The Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City extended congratulations to UNPOG for the success of the 2023 Regional Symposium. The Director of the Foreign Affairs Department expressed interest in contributing to UNPOG activities in 2024, having been impressed by UNPOG's high-level advocacy with the President of the Philippines during the Philippine Mayors Forum. The meeting was attended by UN and international organizations, including UN ESCAP, UNDRR, UN APCICT, World Bank, GCF, EAAFP, AFOB, IGC, and A-WEB. The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote UNPOG's work and foster connections with other Incheon-based international organizations.
