7th North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on Sustainable Development Goals 2023 (20-22 November 2023, Virtual) November 23, 2023

Two DPIDG/UNPOG staff virtually attended the 7th North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on Sustainable Development Goals 2023 organized by the UN ESCAP East and North-East Asia Office on 20-22 November 2023 in Beijing, China. The Forum organized under the theme "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: The effective delivery of sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions in Asia and the Pacific," centered its discussions on assessing progress and identifying opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region regarding SDG1 SDG2 SDG13 and SDG16.

UNPOG staff delivered a presentation during the session on SDG16 focusing on peace, justice and strong institutions. Another staff member contributed to the discussions during the Breakout Session 7 on Nexus linking the goals in focus. UNPOG’s participation in the Forum provided a meaningful opportunity to network with experts, practitioners, and institutions in the area of public administration and raise awareness of diverse capacity development activities and resources of DPIDG and UNPOG.
