At the request of Gimhae Foreign Language High School, DPIDG/UNPOG delivered a thematic presentation on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The staff introduced the Office’s mandate, activities, and impact, which helped deepen the students’ understanding of its role and the importance of strengthening public institutions for effective, inclusive, and accountable SDG implementation. The presentation was attended by over 40 high school students interested in pursuing a career in the public sector or international organizations. This occasion provided an opportunity to share upcoming DPIDG/UNPOG activities including the 9th Regional Symposium on Effective Governance and AI Transformation. At the end of the visit, the participants enhanced their understanding of the critical role of strengthening public institutions for effective SDG implementation.
