19th Assembly Meeting of INTOSAI WGEA (6 - 9, August 2019, Bangkok, Thailand)
One UNPOG/DPIDG staff participated in the 19th Assembly Meeting of INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) from 7 to 9 August 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. During the meeting, the SDGs, the role of IT to accelerate the SDGs, projects of WGEA for SDGs, products of WEGA, and WGEA training and green lines are discussed. The staff delivered a presentation on ICTs for SDGs and Public Service Delivery and developed a better understanding of the critical role of SAIs in monitoring and review of implementation of the SDGs and expand the networking with SAIs for further collaboration.
