The United Nations Project Office on Governance is engaging the services of a Programme Assistant (G-6) and an Administrative Assistant (G-5). The Programme Assistant position requires several years of experience in programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related fields; the Administrative Assistant position requires five years of experience in administrative services, finance, accounting, audit, human resources or related areas.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For both positions, fluency in English is required and knowledge of another official United Nations language or Korean is desirable.
The initial appointment of both positions is for one year subject to approval of funding. Extension of appointment is subject to the extension of the mandate and/or the availability of funds.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take the Global General Service Test (GGST) if they have not taken it before. Only the candidates that pass the GGST will be convoked for the interview.
The GGST consists of three parts: the verbal reasoning section (40 minutes), the numerical reasoning section (45 minutes), and the situational judgment section (20 minutes), and each test part is timed separately.
